Equiniti Riskfactor launches new Companies House module

Tue 30 Jan 2018

All risk information within one system

EQ Riskfactor now includes a brand new Companies House module which enables lenders to access Companies House data directly from within the core EQ Riskfactor application.

ALL Risk information within one system

For the first time, lenders will have access to both Companies House information and EQ Riskfactor analysis within a single risk management system, enhancing risk management processes.

Constant Monitoring and Alerts

The Companies House module contains a new Constant Monitoring feature which automatically monitors clients and portfolios of clients, for daily changes relating to the Companies House data. Examples include:  director resignations, annual accounts becoming overdue or other changes in company details.

Alerts are raised to the lender with any changes in events highlighting those clients that are showing updated company data which potentially needs urgent review.

A complete overview of the client’s situation

The Companies House module combined with the core EQ Riskfactor application, gives lenders access, within one application, to both detailed collateral and Companies House submitted financial data, enabling a comprehensive risk assessment of the client.

The functionality

The new Companies House data feed alerts lenders about changes relating to:

  • Company registered name and office address
  • Company accounts filing date and overdue status
  • Director details
  • Company nature of business
  • Previous company names
  • Company charges/ judgements/ fines

Aaron Hughes, Managing Director of Equiniti Riskfactor comments:

Our software development team worked tirelessly to launch the Companies House module. It is another example of Equiniti Riskfactor enabling lenders to access all risk information from one centralised place and provide a single view of risk across their business. This new module enhances risk management processes and gives lenders a powerful new capability within EQ Riskfactor to manage collateral and financial performance.”
